Hello Marek, >> - The first time I run 3.96.14 after installing, and although I have >> Auto backup disabled (unticked) in Preferences/System, TB created a new >> Auto backup task in Scheduler. > >> - As Delete option is still greyed out, I exited TB and deleted >> Events.CFG. > > this is predefined task, I do not understand, why should be allowed to > delete it and why You are still deleting it via events.cfg? ;-)
Think a bit my fried. Like Roleof pointed in another message, what if I have some more tasks in Scheduler? If I delete Events.CFG I will delete all tasks/events. Why shouldn't I be able to delete the Auto backup task if I know I will never use it? I think that what should happen is the Auto backup task in Scheduler should be removed/deleted from Scheduler as soon as I deselect (untick) Auto Backup in Preferences/System. Then, if I ever select it again, the Auto backup task can be added to Scheduler. -- Best regards, Miguel A.
