Hi Maxim Masiutin, Sunday, April 15, 2007 you let us know -possibly edited- :
> [*] Backup archives larger than 2G bytes are now properly handled Creating a backup (with OTFE enabled Bat) that is PW-protected took ages and was not completed. My biggest folder has about 1 GB and TB tried unavailingly to back it up. I gave TB over 1 hour of time on my PC. TB did not proceed but was busily using RAM and CPU time and the progress bar was not moving forward. TB seemed to choke on that folder. The progress bar was nearly at 95% (estimated) during all of that time. I have a dual core CPU and think that the PW-encryption is causing this hang-up: If I choose not to protecd the new backup-file all is well and the time to create a complete backup is much shorter. My full backup file now is 2,2 GB at size. BTW: previous versions didn't restore the full content of an address book, phone numbers and birthdays weren't remembered. Has this been improved also? -- kind regards Charlene Ferrara mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v3.98.12 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 OTFE-enabled ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.98.12 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
