Thank you, this is good news. I often wondered why it is so easy doing a
backup without PW and impossible with that option. My WinRAR needs only a
few minutes to scramble the created *.tbk file. Good to know that work is
in progress.

not that I know... I remember that some time ago this issue came up while
discussing the backup-situation.
If a complete restore is done, all supplemetary information beside the
email-address ist not being restored. Phone numbers, all information on
every tab except "general" are AFAIK lost. At least the "Private" ones are.
