Hallo Richard,

live), you wrote:

No, you misunderstood me. I used 3.95.08 as that was easy available.
Sometimes when I like the way a release behaves, I copy the executable
and rename it to something like thebat3.95.08.exe and store it in TB's
program directory.
That makes going back to a stable release easy. I close TB and start a
renamed version, for testing or whatever.
Apparently you were interested in the version the behaviour changed,
that was with version 3.98.09

RW> I wonder if it's worth putting in a bug report or is it WAD?

I don't know if this was designed behaviour.
These were the (possibly) related fixes for 3.98.09:
,----- [ ]
| [-] (#0006217) Double line spacing in plain text replies to HTML messages
| [-] (#0005890) Reply to HTML using text format is a quagmire
| [-] (#0001842) Macro QUOTE doesn't work for multipart/alternative message
with UTF-8 part
`-----

If you create a bug report I'll confirm it, but the changed behaviour
doesn't really bother me. It's just different than I expect (and was
used too).
