Can not confirm using 4.0.0.6. It works correctly here. The forwarded
eMail displays the special characters.
Can you provide an "step by step" to reproduce?
Some Umlaute to test: Ä ä Ö ö Ü ü
Some french characters: é è ê ç à ù î
