"Systemstandard" is the charset you use when you send mails. I was speaking of 
the
charset of the mail you want to forward. If you select this mail and
press F9, you will see something like
,----- [  ]
| Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-15
`-----

If you try to forward Hendrik's mail, does it loose the accented
characters?
