Even the standard arugment advanced to cripple TheBat! by making it
possible to edit messages once they arrive shouldn't apply to this
limited wish. The subject line is not what the sender sent or
intended because it has already been hijacked and edited by someone
along the way.

It should also be possible to add notes or even make changes to
messages after one has received them. When messages arrive they are
often split with the list info in another tab. Editing could work
that way and the extra notes could go in a separate tab, and be saved
WITH THE MESSAGE in the mailbox. This would be reliable and a great
improvement beyond the poor substitute of the "memo"
