Agreed. At best, it is only partially fixed because dragging messages to the Editor in the Windows taskbar simply does not work. However, using alt+tab is a workaround that I did not try before, and fortunately that does work well enough that I can limp along with 4.x rather than revert to 3.99. :-) I must say, however, that I am still a bit wary of the way in which the Microeditor works. Often, after reformatting a paragraph, the view remains somewhere off to the right (rather than on the left with all of the text showing). Due to this quirk and others like the now fixed copy-and-paste issue that I reported, I also wonder whether reformatting of paragraphs can cause a loss of characters (although that could also be just my hasty typing). -- jaywalker Windows XP Pro SP2 and The Bat!
