If you can view it, you should be able to print it. Without switching
to another application, I mean.

As long as it's hidden from the user, it's OK: He doesn't have to open
another application to print. The point us ease-of-use.

This has nothing to do with dumbing it down. And by the way, I can
watch TV with my computer <g>. Others use their computer as a fancy
typewriter. ;-)
