Hi Jernej, Hi everyone,
in the meantime I've done a little reading about Outlook and its curious use of the 8859-1 charset. It makes me wonder if there could be a mechanism in TheBat to treat messages according to their sender. For example, if a message is known to have been sent by a defective client there could be automatic special handling for that message, maybe as part of the filter system: Every message where "X-Mailer" contains "Outlook" display using charset "Windows-1252" This could even be a "rewrite" function: Every message where "X-Mailer" contains "Outlook" replace every occurence of "iso-8859-1" by "Windows-1252" and insert header-line "X-TheBat" = "handled" Of course, possibilities present themselves: In every message from "Joe Ugly" replace every occurence of "you idiot" by "I love you" :-) How about it? -- Mit freundlichem Gruß Alto Speckhardt mailto:[email protected] TheBat v4.1.11
