Did you read the Themida discussion that Marek Mikus linked to?
This discussion took place two years ago. So Ritlabs could have
known what they got themselves into when they decided to protect
their software with Themida.

It's just the same story all over again. Years ago there used to
exist an anti-spam plugin named BayesIt! There have been numerous
discussions about problems with BayesIt! on this list. Still,
although it was crystal clear to anyone that it didn't work as
advertised, Ritlabs decided to bundle it with TB!

It is very simple. With Themida you _know_ you will run into
trouble. And in the meantime the piracy just goes on.
