The German one is a good start, but does not describe the special features
like assertions a.s.o (at least I didn't find them). So looks like a good
team :-) One should have both.

Oh, right. It's a new feature written by Dirk Heise (beta-version, no
guarantee). It's a DLL and a additional entry in the CNT-file which comes
with the help file.
You have an additional tab folder which is divided in three parts:
above an area where you type in the regex (only that, without options;
these can be set after pressing the config-button),
in the middle you enter the text to test your regex (match or not)
and last but not least you have the return-value area where the result for
subpatt 0, subpatt 1..... is shown.
I can't remember whether attachments where allowed on this list; so I send
a hardcopy via private mail to you.
