Are you sure? It was my understanding that 'purge all folders'
- deletes messages if the 'maximum nmber to keep' value is
exceeded and/or
- the 'keep messages for x days' age is exceeded.
While 'purge all folders' surely won't be wrong I believe that
'compress all folders' is the command to really shrink the
databases.
