Resizable template boxes: WOOPS, didn't realize that! The reply etc templates
aren't resizable and I assumed that the quick template edit box also wasn't.
That's a good reason for being consistent in implementing Windows UI standards
such as the three diagonal lines (what ARE those things called??) on lower right
of a resizable windows (which IS implemented in other TB! windows).
Address groups don't cut it for my purposes. I manage a lot of eBay auctions and
need to reply to winning bidders with various standard messages (winning,
shipping, etc). In general I don't even save addresses in the address book.
And moving stuff around into different folders with specific templates also
doesn't cut it, as sometimes I need to create _temporary_ people-specific
folders and don't want to have to create templates anew each time. Folder
INHERITANCE would be a very workable solution, whereby templates (and column
settings and print settings and ...) would default to the parent folder unless
otherwise modified.

No, but word wrapping cuts in and that can also be a PITA.

Address groups are a good resource for this kind of thing. Usually, a
template is specific to an address or an ilk of address. The Address
book is my main repository for the plethora different templates I
need.
