It is a feature belonging to *status bar* controls and not available
in any windows which do not have a status bar - so it's not an issue
of WinUI standards.

Okay - here's an off the wall one. Have you considered a "send only"
secondary Account for this purpose? You can then have an account wide
template for this specific purpose and filter messages to/from your
primary account as required.
