Yes. You should enable 'NT Apm/Legacy Interface Node' in the Device
Manager.
You can do this by right click on My Computer then click 'Manage'.
Then you get a window where you have to click on device manager. Then
you have to click on the pull down menu 'view' | show hidden devices.
When you've done that there is a new device visible called 'NT
Apm/Legacy Support'. Expand the plus sign and then right click on
properties. Then you get the properties where you can enable this
device.
If you now restart Win2k should be able to shut down your computer.
