But I think the probability that it will work is rather small, because Win2K would have atomatically installed ACPI during the installation if the BIOS was new enough. I think what I told you is only intended to use if for some reason Win2K didn't recognize your BIOS correctly or after you have updated the BIOS. In the German computer magazine "PC Welt" 8/2001 it says how to fix Windows if this happens. (You need a rescue diskette though) E-Mail me privately if you want me to tell you what the magazine says.
