Yeah..yeah got your point after local test here :-)

My  MDaemon  support  either  MD5 and Plain SMTPAUth (MD5 as default),
even I set Plain Auth on TB! it's still use MD5 when handshake with my
MDaemon.  If  sending  using other mailer which support plain SMTPAuth
only,  my  MDaemon response using plain instead of MD5 (will try other
mailer if there is having different behaviour).

Other  test  with  my  Exim  Server  (this  list),  it's support Plain
SMTPAuth only, if I set MD5 on TB! my Exim yelling and no problem if I
set Plain Auth in TB!.
