Dear Bats I'm a newbie and this may be a FAQ, but I can't find the answer.
I want a regex macro to remove a frequently appearing chunk of constant text from outgoing replies. The start and end of the chunk are always the same. I have seen the macro to remove PGP headers and Yahoo adverts, but cannot unravel this to adapt to my needs If the chunk is Constant text one Variable text line Variable text line Constant text two eg. *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* Dr Jo Price Lecturer in Bloggins Dept of xxxxx University of xxx -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- What to do if say the *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* and -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- is always present and the bit in between is variable?? As the next step, what to do if this chunk of text has variable numbers of >'s associated?
