Indeed. I'll try one, since I use my own servers and no relay:

If this gets changed, it would be the list server's doing. I'm
sending a BCC copy to another address of mine.

This is what I've been saying happens in the wild. Routing servers
do it often. GMX are notorious. How is an MUA supposed to know that
the string of ">From" in the message body has been tampered with by
a routing server and remove it on receipt?
