We've used TB (several versions from 1.3x to 1.6?) for several years in network mode without the problems you mentioned. One machine runs as "TCP/IP or Dial-out Server" and four run as "Workstation with TCP/IP". We started out using NT4 and now are using WinXP Workstation. The only time we had freezing problems was with some versions of ZoneAlarm (vsmon.exe consuming most of cpu time). Generally, three of the client machines are set to automatically check for mail at specified intervals. -- Best regards, Lee Using The Bat! v1.62r on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 3 ________________________________________________________ http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
