I haven't done so, but it shouldn't be that difficult. ;-)
In order to do this, you'll need to create a database to remember what
confirmation you sent the last time. TB can only do that at one place:
the AB.

Create 10 AB groups and create 10 filters that send a confirmation
message depending on the AB group your contact is in.
As extra action in the filter move your contact to another group (add
to one group, remove from another).
I haven't tried this, so I can't tell you whether it can be done with
one filter or that you should use multiple (outgoing) filters to
handle the AB group moving.
