I have the same thing happening fairly often, although I'm running a much older version (but also on XP SP3). If I just go away and let it run, it usually does finish eventually but it may take half an hour or more. If I'm impatient, I force it closed -- and so far have not seen any serious permanent damage to my files, although the display layout tends to change if I do this. My best guess, and it IS just a guess, is that TB is doing some cleanup housekeeping, since I do have a number of "cleanup on exit" options checked. It doesn't bother me frequently, since I leave TB running in a virtual machine on a Linux host 24/7 and only close it down to reboot after updates to either the guest (no more after today!) or the host. -- Best regards, Jim mailto:j...@jimkyle.com Using The Bat! v4.2.36.4 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 3 on VirtualBox 4.2.18 under Xubuntu 12.04.3 with AntiSpamSniper Version 3.2.4.5 ________________________________________________ Current version is 6.1.8 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
