Hi, all,
On 25/09/1999, at 07:22,
Thomas Fernandez (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED])
had a look around and wispered:

C>> So I made a keyword system to filter potential robbers : they could
C>> get the posts sent to them, but any post they sent was read by an
C>> operator who chose,

TF> This would have been illegal in Germany (mail privacy law, which
TF> applies to email as well, I recently read somewhere). They would have
TF> sued you.
It may be illegal in France too, but to prove it, they must :
1- connect at least 2 operators (and pay 2 times more) ;
2- prove this is not an incident ;
3- last but not least, recognize they tried to rob the clients, and
so, they have been charged for "dtournement de clientle sur les
lieux de vente" -sorry, I don't know how to translate it.
