Hi all,

I remember some time ago I'd brought up the fact that the 'paste as
quote' prefixing was inappropriately fixed to a '>' especially since
many of us use the senders initials as parts of our quote prefixes.

I was just perusing my newsreader, Forte Agent, which I know has a
'paste as quote option'. It was recently upgraded to version 1.6. I was
intrigued when I saw below the 'paste as quote option', another option
called 'paste as quote custom..". I tried it and to my surprise a
dialog box pops up upon executing the command, prompting me to type in
the desired quote prefix and viola, my custom quote prefix is there.
 Now isn't that nice?

I had more or less slunk off with my tail between my legs <teasing>,
after being told that what I wished for was inappropriate. I find it
interesting that the developers of one of the applications (TB happens
to be another <g>) which I consider to be a paragon of usability in my
books, decide to include such an option. It's really useful and aids in
making quote prefixing consistent. I'm a real stickler for presentation
and this is why I love The Bat!'s editor so much.
