Hi,
I have a question about TB. When you right click on a heading
(From, To, Subject etc) and change the positions/widths of the
columns they always seem to reset to the defaults. If I do it at
the top level (the bit with the @ and your account name) and go to
my inbox then back to the top level it has reset. Does anyone know
why this happens or if I am doing anything wrong?? Am I trying to
set the account default column properties in the wrong place?
Also I feel it would be better if instead of the folder option 'use
account default column settings' it was 'remember column settings
for this folder'. Or even if the default to the current option was
checked. Is there any way to enable this setting in one 'click' or
easy step?
Another idea is a variation on the alt-drag to move a folders
position, how about using ctrl or shift when dragging a folder and
when you drop it on another folder it becomes a sub-folder. I'm a
new TB user and imported my Outlook Express mail, it was nice and
organised in folders/subfolders but when I imported them I ended up
with a just folders and my hirachical structure gone (I needed a
good excuse to sort through my mail anyway *grin*). The biggest
pain I found was having to create a subfolder (right click/new
folder), drag my old mail folder in under it, and then delete the
subfolder I just created just to get my structure back, when you have some subfolders
stacked 4 or 5 levels deep it gets a bit time consuming.
Looking forward to your help.
