Hi all,

If you wish for a folder's column settings to stay the same and
different from other folders, go into the folder's properties applet
and make sure that 'Use the account default column settings' is
unchecked before you make your changes.
The next rule is that if you create a subfolder, make sure that when
the properties applet for the subfolder appears, make sure that in
addition to giving it a name, that the option 'Use the account default
column settings' is unchecked. If the option is left checked, then upon
creation of the subfolder, for some strange reason, the parent folders
column settings are reverted back to the original TB default setup and
the subfolder will also have this original default column settings.
The next rule is that if you adjust the columns for a folder *after*
checking the 'Use the default column settings', these settings are
adopted as the default for any other folder which has the default
column settings option checked as well. In other words, you may change
the default setup by adjusting the columns for *any* folder which is
set to use the default column settings. Once you make the change in
one folder, the change is automatically made for all other folders
with this default setting option checked.
Clear as mud?
If you have take these pointers into account then your column settings
will behave in a predictable fashion. It used to drive me nuts but I've
figured it out now.

Ctrl+Alt+drag will move folders in and out of subfolder positions.
> Looking forward to your help.
Well, I hope that helped. ;)
