If I really want to kill filter something I goto USA.NET and just
route whatever I donot want direct in the delete bin.
But I normally filter the bat to route it to inbox, ie nothing happens
with action delete and delete on server.
BUT if you do it via the killfilters its supposed to kill before
downloading.

As said, I prefer to catch unwanted stuff as early as possible as with
a 200 at present mails per day. it will fill things up quick so I use
the USA.net to get rid of most pure spam and my next stage is a linux
box with more precise filtering and then I use the bat, with same
filters and to see if I can get rid of more. After that works that
filter would move to the other ones.
Result about 1 spam email per day. Most of my filters on my system
have very little to do once they work...
