    The only practical reasons are:

1: You do not know what the registration key is.
2: Even if you do know you don't feel like typing it all out (no tab
completion) or going through the registry editor.
3: The two machines have TB! on different drives (gotta love that concept,
right!?)
4: Screen resolution is different.  Ex: home is 1600x1200.  Work is 1280x1024.
This means that window sizes are different between the two, column sizes are
different, font sizes may be different, colors might be different, window
position is definitely different and so on.

    Exactly.  Install a Unix variant, get rid of that pesky registry.
