Hello The Bat! developers,
I'm using The Bat! Version 1.38e
under Windows NT 4.0 Build 1381 Service Pack 4
and would like to report a bug
The bug description:
The method for expanding macros recursively with %qinclude is
not universal, it
1.) inserts an additional CRLF
2.) is unusable (because of 1.) for some macros, eg. %subject
Steps to reproduce the bug:
Create a QuickTemplate "a" containing some bogus text, lets say
"bogus". Create the following new message template:
%qinclude="a"===
%quotes="foobar"===
%quotes="%qinclude=""a"""===
%subject=""%subject="%qinclude=""a"""===
This gives a message with the subject "bogus##", where ## stands
for CRLF displayed as two small black boxes, and this body:
bogus
===
> foobar
===
> bogus
===
===
Note that when you click into the subject and move with the
cursor, that the subject seems to have two lines...
Regards,
Peter Steiner
