Hello Thomas Fernandez,
On Thu, 23 Dec 1999 00:21:18 +0800 you told us :
EO>> I experienced the same problem after i upgraded from 1.36 to 1.38, but
EO>> for some reason the problem disappeared after 2-3 days... (?) I am
EO>> running TB on a standalone Win98SE...
EO>> My cousin has also the same problem, but he has had the problem since
EO>> he installed 1.38 a couple of days after the release of 1.38, and
EO>> because of this he is considering to use another email client instead.
TF> There must have been some bugs in 1.38. I don't know exactly which
TF> ones, but they have fixed them, and a new version called 1.38e is now
TF> on the website.
AFAIK for win98, The Bat! will put all the folder on user profile
directory. Example, if you're logon as user1, all the bat
configuration will putting on c:\windows\profile\user1, if later you
logon as user2 The Bat! will "virtually" lose all of the configuration
for user1 and if try to reinstall The Bat!, it will create new config
for user2.
This is similar condition as me, who put all the folder on Network
Drive. I must copy account.fld to my network drive (mail folder
directory), if not, all my new setting will not save.
