Hello Gary Luther,

On Tue, 4 Jan 2000 at 15:48:18 [GMT +0700] your local time which was
Tuesday, January 04, 2000 15:48:18 [GMT +0700] my local time, you told
to the list:

GL> I have an email account on Operamail.com that is forwarded to my
GL> home email account. My home email account will not forward mail. I
GL> am trying to use The Bat at work to pick up email from my home
GL> account and then be able to reply to it.

GL> I have setup the POP3 address as my home email acct. and set up
GL> the SMTP as my Operamail.com account.

GL> When I try to send an email it says <my home acct> has refused to
GL> forward the mail. What I am hoping to accomplis is this:

GL> Incoming email:   <my home acct.>  --------->>  The Bat
GL> Outgoing email:   The Bat ------------------------->>  Operamail.com

GL> Opermail.com is specified as SMTP and I have supplied the userid
GL> and password.

I don't know about Operamail.com, but if they're using POP Before SMTP
from Qmail, you must put user name completely with the domain name, ie
: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
