Have you tried putting the following into your template?
%SUBJECT="%COOKIE"
That worked for me.
Now as a follow up question, in my tests I tried adding cookies from
a text file using
%SUBJECT="%="A:\test.txt"" Now this resulted in a message with an =
sign as subject and a line A:\test.txt"" where the macro was in the
template. I can see why the Bat! is having trouble with my syntax,
but then what is the proper syntax for this type of command? Perhaps
in future versions different characters could denote opening and
closing arguments? For example, I think it would be less ambiguous
if you could write something like
%SUBJECT=[%=[A:\test.txt]]
