KR> Hmmm...How did you narrow it down to that one message? And if it's
KR> one message causing the problem, how does it ever get past it?

>From TB logs.
I saw that if the error happened, always after download message as
above (actually I got that kind of message every download session).

KR> Well, I use 95 at work, and 98 at home, so it COULD be 98 related.

I think so, something relate to "multi tasking" and "memory leak" (?).

KR> When I started last night, I had about 1500 messages on the server
KR> (I haven't found a good way yet to receive all messages at both
KR> locations and clean them up consistently). When the problem
KR> started happening, I had about 400 marked for download. Even
KR> though UIDL was partially working as far as downloading, messages
KR> marked for deletion were not being deleted. (It appears that all
KR> marked messages must be downloaded before any are deleted; is this
KR> correct?)

Correct.

KR> This made the whole process very time consuming to complete. Every
KR> time I got the "output file" error, I had to wait for the download
KR> window to clear and hit the "get" button again. It would then have
KR> to count through 1000 messages all over again before finding the
KR> first one marked for download.

What's your activities meanwhile TB download the message ?
