Not quite. I joined this list at least six months ago (that's the
oldest message from this list I've not deleted) and just now I've
started to receive this mdeamon messages (there were several address
to me in the past couple of days). And I've never, until now, tried to
post to the list i.e. I've started to receive these mdeamon messages
*before* I posted *anything* on the list and well *after* I joined. So,
there's something definitely wrong about the fix and about the
explanation of the problem ;)
BTW, there is something else. I've seen a lot of people complain about
getting these messages after they try to post to the list but I
haven't received these mdeamon messages addressed to them. Beside
several addressed to me, I've seen just a couple of them. That's why
I'm not sure if all of these messages get really posted on the list.
It seems to me that some of them do and some of them do not.
