I confirm it works here, even though IE still starts the installation
wizard when I click on it. I never "installed" it, but I guess the
files you need were installed when Win98 was installed. Two questions
though:
1.) Did you ask the developers which part of the IE install TB is
using? Maybe all you need is a few DLL's and a registry hack.
2.) Since URL-launch works with Calypso on your PC, it is not
impossible to achieve. Do you know whether it involves a lot of code?
If not, this should be taken to the wish-list IMHO. If, at one time in
the future, TB will be ported to Linux, I also don't quite see the IE
files there.
Another thing: has anybody any idea whether W2K force-installs IE as
well? If not, the same problem persist, I would think.
