I can confirm that a win2000K upgrade  (NOTE: upgrade) didnt ask
anything except it does checking on compatible software/hardware.
In my case something with pgp got killed off and not sure what as I
hardly use it.

Internet explorer goes to the desired webpage.
The Bat also runs.

One of the few problems I seem to have is that my speakers seem to
make less noise and that Dr Web complains about  out of date tables when
reinstalled (NTFS on C-drive).

On the whole though the upgrade went smooth.
Internet still working, fax still working.
For the rest, the new backgrounds are still the same as many betas
ago..
