This is not what the request is. MIME digests comprise
completely separate messages attached as TB! does. We have no problem
with that. Our axe lies with the method presently provided to view and
manage these messages. Pegasus opens a folder type interface for you
to view the messages fluently. Agent allows you to 'burst' the digest,
separating it into the various messages.
You may ask, why subscribe in digest form to then burst the
messages into separate messages. Well, for lists that aren't busy or
that I don't participate much in, it's nice to do a single download of
the days messages instead of sporadic downloads that animates TB!'s
systray icon, the only way of getting the icon animation stopped is to
either read the message or mark it as read. There are work arounds
yes, but one of them is a MIME digest. ;)
