Well, they're not umlauted for me.  They've got circumflexes over
them.  At least, I think that's the name.  It's a little hat, a teeny
upside-down V.

The above, to me in the USA, shows two boxes, the euro-currency
symbol, a dot, dash, 's' with an inverted circumflex (sorry, don't
know what language owns that one).

Next two lines are a string of capital 'u's with circumflexes over
them, followed by v2.00 or v1.41.

Also, a signature *should* be preceeded by dash-dash-space-newline.
