You're right that my Web site reviews only mailers capable of
handling Japanese, but I am thinking about adding The Bat! in a
special guest appearance (noting that it will do Japanese when used
with NJWin*), mainly to introduce a unique alternative to the standard
programs out there.
*That applies to most other mailers, too. But (1) not all of them let
you add the correct charset header, and (2) many do not display
Japanese properly even with NJWin. Pegasus, for example, leaves
patches of un-decoded Japanese. Someone reported that the latest
Eudora does not work at all with NJWin.
