Well, if you know that the scroll-lock key works then there's
no problem. The scroll-lock is enabled by default in the message view
window and nowhere else, although it may be activated anywhere else.

If the scroll-lock function was made available on a regular
basis, then you wouldn't have been confused. ;) Very often I hit the
<Insert> key accidentally and my letters disappear when trying to type
something. I know exactly what's happening though. If you're Agent
window starts scrolling independent of the cursor, then the
scroll-lock is activated. Tell me something. Are you against it
because it confused you?
