I've always had a problem with most of the filters that TB sets up. For
instance, here is the From: line from a spam I just got:

"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Now I've created a filter through Special/Create Filter, and have created
two of my own on this address, and every variant thereof, but to no avail.
I just cannot make the filter stick. I realize that it's now a read filter
sitting in my Inbox and not a fresh incoming mail, but why won't the
filter send it to the trash when I go to re-filter the Inbox? I have "read
messages" ticked when I go to re-filter the Inbox?

For a From: address, I've tried the following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

and a combination of the two of them, _exactly_ as is shown in the
headers. It's frustrating getting this junk, but even more so when you
can't get rid of it once you have it. What am I doing wrong?
