 I can confirm that this happens to me too, but I can't tell you how
 to fix it.  I thought that if "Bind only when sending" option was
 *not* selected, then that meant that the attachment would be bound
 immediately when you placed the message in the outbox.  But it
 appears that this is not the case.  Can anyone explain the logic?
