The Bat flies as long as there are unread messages.

You can turn this off (Options/Icon Animation), but that's not you
want: you want TB to know that you have read the message that is msot
improtant to you. TB has no way of knowing IMHO. It's either "unread
messages exist" or "not".

PS: Please disable HTML in your M$ email program, if you use it for
this list. Thanks.
