Hi alex,
On 10 April 2000 at 19:49:44 GMT -0500 (which was 01:49 where I
live) [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote and made these points on the subject
of "another newbie qs":
Please do not post to this list using HTML

The Bat! will fly until all un-read mail is read. That's the way it
works. most other email programs I have used (with the exception of OE
- the one you just used to write this message) will continue to
indicate the presence of unread mail until there is none.
It is only logical that, as long as new messages exist, the flying bat
should continue to remind you of that fact.
