Thanks for the info. I thought I had remembered using Version 6.52,
when it became available, and downloaded it from the PGPI site. I had
to use this version so that it would work on W2K (before the 6.53
update), and I thought it said version i when using it, but could very
well be wrong.

It is scary isn't it, no source code in the later releases. Phil
Zimmermann, whom I have spoken to many times over the years, made it
specifically so that the source code would be open to inspection, and
in this way, any changes (backdoors) could be easily identified by
using checksums.
