of "Ticker Window Doesn't Update":

The virtual folder does not update for me until I close it then
re-open it from the ticker. I understand that this did not work for
you and cannot comment as to why that would be.
For myself, I have actually assigned a system hot-key to opening the
ticker and tend to use this more than double clicking on the ticker
itself. This is the main way I use TB, in fact - my "home" mode.
