Maybe, but I just emptied a bunch of trash bins, got rid of a number of large size messages and ran the maintenance center on everything to get rid of duplicated messages and compressed everything. I closed The Bat and then tried to reopen. The first time, it hung for a bunch of minutes. I then closed the application and reopened immediately. This time it promptly opened up without any hanging.
