I deal with a lot of graphics both as attachments and inline. The easiest way 
to do it is to COPY the graphics to a work folder then resize them and send 
them to the Bat
Irfanview is free and will do it
There is also a site worth bookmarking - do it at the root of this search that 
will give you tons of freeware options. If you need something more robust for 
handling images, let me know off list
