My wife leans towards Picasa because it allows you to
pick a photo or photos and in one swell foop, resize it/them, launch you email
client, open a new message and attach your photo or photos to that message, all
by pressing a single icon. My wife expects a computer program to operate like a
toaster: put the bread in and press a button. The toaster does the rest. To
her, Picasa is basically like that. It's easy for her to accomplish this
particular email task.

I am stuck in my ways and as a geezer, entitled to stay that way. I am unlikely
to evaluate a new program unless I think it would be beneficial to me as well.
She would never undertake to evaluate a new program since she knows it probably
wouldn't work like a toaster. So, unless the programs you suggested are capable
of this "one button" procedure, she's not going to use it.

But thanks for replying Rick. I do appreciate it.
